Many say that the Ozcuras -or grey orcs-, a race of orcs breeed by the demons of the dark legion for their nefarious purposes didn't had a culture in their own, as they only had what the demons gave to them, and with luck, only copied their demonic masters. However, this wouldn't be true.

Since the first ozcuras left the pits of Entartea and entered in service along several demonic lords of the Dark Legion, they did began to develope their own culture: what their masters teached them was the base of it, but the ozcuras give it their own sense and meaning. As well, from observing and interacting with other demon-servers (orcs and non-orcs), they continued developing their own cultures, existing later several, distingible "ozcura nations" with their own dialects of low polforian demonic, mixed with red and green orc words, along with others of their own creation.

Among the cultural creations of the Ozcuras, there was as well music and poetry, but they had only an oral tradition. While elves disregard in general all the orcish music, narrative and poetry, they said the ozcuras where among the orcs who had better artistic skills for dance and singing... which the elves explained by the drops of elven blood in the mixed ancestors of the ozcuras. In the same time, while the ozcuras voices were thought to be the more beautiful of the orcs for non-orcs, among the orc races the other orcs didn't liked ozcura's voices, songs and music, because it sounded "un-orcish".

As well, due their role in the service of demons, not only as warriors, but as well in many civilian roles -such as entertaiment-, the ozcuras will be often musicians, singers and dancers in the Dark Legion, when there wan't elves to amuse their demonic masters, or to entertain lesser demons -normally, greater demons prefered for entertaiment other demons-. For these practices for their masters, the ozcuras will develop their own musical styles, mixing demonic music, elven lyrics and structures they had to learn for the songs and orcs instruments, creating a fusion of them into their own musical styles.

Done for :iconanimal-delos: for participating on the Ozcuras! contest. Here, Maurakia, fearsome band leader tells to the tribe the story of their latest victories and exploits as she show her loot, along with two of her warriors, Gan'mia and Lil'ti, who playing the instruments captured from the bards, minstrels and performers they assaulted: playing them in their own way of course, to compenetrate the narrative of their leader.

In a remote region in the world of Aiers there was a tribe of Ozcuras whom had found themselves feeling rather lax as of late. They hadn't raided anything or anyone in awhile. Despite beginning to feel agitated at both the lack of action and the lack of males to mate with, they did not feel discouraged. The leader whom was donned in her cheetah skin suit and a skull atop her head stood up and shouted to gather her tribe together. It did not take long for the tribe to be present and accounted for as they stood at attention waiting for their leader's orders.
"Alright youz lazies! We needz to raid somezing to get our spiritz up!" The leader shouted to her tribe. They all nodded and cheered in revelry at their leader's assertion. Apparently all of them were itching just as much to get back on the wagon; so to speak.
"Yez! Lez go get a caravan!" One of the crowd shouted.
"Or we raid a village!" Another added in.
"Or we could attack ze pointy earz!" Yet another chimed.

I always liked to imagine Orc music would like Mongolian Throat Singing.
