The drums of the orcs filled the valley in a red dusk, that seemed to announce that it was going to be a tragic night. Blowing their horns, the orcs gathered around their banners, crowning the stony hills.

Down in the shallow valley, the dwarves put on their warmasks and prepared for battle: For Ten days, they had marched in the Highlands after the orcs, looking for a decisive battle, but the orcs and goblins scurred from their hands: this had been a stratagem, a rouse which the orcs and goblins obviously had used to drag them away from known terrain, and to gather a larger army.

Short of water, they arrived at that stoney valley where only some grass grown to make a camp, to continue the next day the persecution of the orcs...

But the persecution had ended, and this night, the handful of Dwarves of the Mines of Nortunk had finally meet the orcs: but they didn't reached them, but the orcs did so, tenfold the dwarves numbers...

However the Dwarves celebrated: this meant, no more running in the hills behind wargs, hitting in the darkness nothing: encouraging each other against the advancing orc army that began to march down from the hills, they said that now the orcs gathered, they made easier for them the work of getting rid of them...

However, some of the commanders seemed more grim of the perspectives of the battle, but didn't transmited their doubts to their fellow dwarves:

As the orcs charged with a warcry, the dwarves chanted to their old gods of stone...

There, these are Kaiehm green orcs, the smaller kind of orc, but not because of that, one of the less dangerous...
