In the far north of Aels and in Near Hieyoks, there existed the wild rumors about the existence of only male Dwarfs, or that their female have beards as well:

However, these rumors do have a base from which they originated: in the extremely patriarchal society of the Dwarf civilizations of the north, the female dwarfs are to be protected deep in their fortresses and keeps, safe from the dangers of Aiers, never to be seen by foreigners –be non-dwarves, or dwarves from other mines-. In some cases, this included as well other male dwarves that weren’t from the families, and if the females had to leave the security of their mines, they did it under the disguise of fake beards to hide themselves.  

But anybody who travel to the south of Aels and north of Zarhuy will find other Dwarven civilizations and cultures, much more opened than the northern isolationists cities: they weren’t only open for trade to other species, but as well to live among them –being common to find dwarves in villages and towns of humans and other species, which included as well, female dwarves: and in these southern mines, there doesn't exist the custom of the fake beards to cover the faces of their women.

While in the southern Dwarf mines, the warriors and miners are still mostly men, dwarven women aren’t relegated only to domestic tasks but take an active part in the economy of their mines, and as well can be part of the City guard and Militias, and some noble-woman may enter in Military Orders.

Other interesting point about the dwarfs of Aels and Zarhuy, is that they normally wear for special occasions and celebrations their armors, as a Dwarf is seemed to be an Adult, with vote and voice, when it can carry arms, so for an un-warned visitant in a day of Market or religious festivity, he may think the dwarfs are going to war…

Edit 14.08.2017: I stumbled across an old, ooold notebook filled with old drawings of 2010, who back in the day where badly scanned, so I decided not only to re-scan, but first to ink more details and later as well, to add lights, shadows, and in this case: backgrounds!

, "deviantwatcher", answered my silly requests for something to draw for my proyect, that I draw for him some female dwarfs...

I'm aren't completely sure, thought, if it was him, as the answer now is "hidden by the owner", so this is my guess that was him, and he wanted this XD...
