I want to play as Cyrti!

"I don't want to play again as Kanov" protested Kanyi.

"Well, we are playing the Kanovhook wars. Somebody must play Kanovs!" said the older and larger werewolf kid, standing over one of the stones of the "evil kanov fortress, an old melting furnace they found in the forest. Not everybody have cool ruins to play with.

"yeah, but why allways we have to be the kanovs?" said Kanyi, crossing her arms in front of her.

"I'm older, so I pick." said the werewolf boy, with the little bells in his paw.

"But why you allways play as Cyrti? I want to play as Cyrti!" protested the werewolf girl

"Don't be silly. You are a girl"

"So what?"

"Well, D'UH! Obviously, a girl can't play as Cyrti."

"And why not?"

"He was a pack-leader. Pack leaders are allways male!"

"And what if Cyrti really was a girl, but the stories are wrong?"

"You are so not playing as Cyrti. I called dibs on him" said the werewolf boy. "Now, are we going to play or not?"

"Well, if you are so strict about that, neither Kanov girls fight! So I want to play as werewolf!"

"I said you play as Kanov!" said angry the older werewolf boy. "I'm older, bigger and can transform. So shut up and let's play."

"I don't want to"

Other of the boys, worried, try to stop Kanyi, who was now looking for a fight. "You are going to get us in problems!"

"So what?! I don't fear him"

"But he can transform!" said her sister Yiko, moving her tail and eyes...

"Then let's solve this as wolves do" said fierce Kanyi...

that was a challenge, and soon, the play of a make-up battle during the Kanovhook wars, the wars between the demons and kanovs, become a real one, as the werewolves, turned in wolf form, began to fight and roll all over the place in a total chaos...

The Werewolves are one of the many demon races, and for being some of the few shapeshifters of Aiers, they take great pride in being capable of shifting their forms, between their person look, they wolf and werewolf forms.

As demons, the Werewolves can be created by either a Bazrrod -a great demon lord- with one of his soul shards in mysterious and unknow ways -as all demons were first created by the Bazrrods- or later, by natural reproduction, which make the Werewolves a middle class of demons.

With the centuries, most of the werewolves are born.
Due their shapeshifting hability, it can be dangerous in the last months of pregnancy -which last 12 months- for the female werewolf and their unborn childs to change form, so normally they remain in either their wolf or person form.

When born, the newborn werewolves born in the form their mother was -as person or wolf- and will remain in that form until some years. As in the wolf form, the werewolf cubs are more independant, in many clans of werewolves is prefeered to bring forth children in wolf form -meanwhile some groups, mostly within the Dark Legion, with more sedentary habits, is prefeered to give them birth with person form.-

Near the age of three to five years old, the young werewolves will learn to change forms for first time, between person and wolf form.

The werewolf form -between person and wolf- , the most difficult to manage- normally is learn between 8 and 14 years old, being a pride being able to shapeshift before others-. While some werewolves cubs may be capable of transform at young age, normally when reaching puberty they will became capable of using the werewolf form.

Shapeshifting isn't dependant of the moon cycles, as stories tell, but it's a process that isn't painless, taking a great consumtion of energy.

Because of that, normally werewolves use their prefeered form, shifting forms only when needed, rather than in every occasion.

As a final fun fact, a werewolf weight the same in all their forms.

Prize for ~Arnilo of my contest of the world of Aiers, who wanted some werewolf cubs playing the kanovhook wars, the wars between demons and kanovs.

While this is many centuries later, among the werewolves an unknown and forgotten commander, called Cyrti, leaded a charge of werewolves in a lossing battle putting some bells in his tail, to rally his forces behind his command.



It may not be the more heroic way to be remembered, but it became later a popular game among werewolves, who playing the demon-kanov wars, allways had one of them wearing little bells, that the others try to catch and take for them, becoming then "Cyrti".

the assumption done by Kanyi, that he could bee female, are preposterous!
