Naval Battle of Aguasclaras

Naval Battle of Aguasclaras, during the JPM-Degoland war, fought in Ushaenor: there some Soldarmian navy units that ambushed a convoy of the JPM, composed in some gun ships and mostly, outdated wooden transports, that tried to smuggle supplies and weapons to their trapped garrisons.

Did you know that during WWII, there where still some wooden ships with sails, that where sunk by the german U-Boots, at least in the caribean? Some quite ancient transports, but transports, nonetheless. Even some had some armament, to repel the attacks.

The U-Boots, of course, didn't used their valuable torpedos on them, but the small cannon they had for these kind of purposes.

In a fictional novel, you can read in a book of Hemingway about such things -the Old man and the sea? I don't know the name-, and in some of the memories of some U-Boot commanders that acted in the area.

When I found that out, I was quite surprised, I would say!
