Near Hieyoks and the Dark Legion

Since long I owed posting a map of Near Hieyoks, with some -not all- the locations.


EXPANSION OF THE DARK LEGION IN NEAR HIEYOKS: circa the 2470s after the Apparition of Humanity

Anutkia: Dark Legion Realm under Anutkahook. The Nutks leaded important efforts of expansion of the Dark Legion in near Hieyoks, in the northern Tok Sea and southern Hieyokscream

Blazakhov: The Caliphate of the Orange Sun was a Kanov muslim nation, that opposed Tok-Thoria and the Dark legion. They had a minor prescence in western Farsia at the time of the initial expansion of the Dark Legion in Hieyoks. They will later take over most of Farsia and the Karkaz.

Copper Hill Dwarves: The Northernmost Dwarven fortresses, enemies of the dark legion.

Dannustan: Kanov nation, that opossed the Dark Legion.

Draconia: Dark legion Realm under Draco the Reluctant. Emboy of the Dark Legion to Near Hieyoks, he was ambassador to Ice Giants, Trelkas, Ice elves, Galaw High orcs and Kanovs. Afterwards, he founded is own realm, where lived his creations, the Draconians.

Dorozia: Former Doroz nation, that was conquered by the Krakavian humans, but reformed as a province of the Dark Legion under Anutkahook rule.

Galaw Orcs: The Galaw Orcs created diverse, small kingdoms, some of which will ally the Dark legion, some which will fight it.

Holkokav: Kanov nation,  member of the Northern Kanov Confederation and the Dark Legion

Hieyoks: The Hieyoks Ice Giants, from which comes the name of the continent and who once ruled, had been pushed to the Frozen North and the Valley of the Giants: they allied with the Dark Legion for a chance to gain back their lost territories.

Ice Elves: The Ice Elves of the Far north, the Anqueael, had a series of city states. Pushed so further north by invaders -Galaw, Kanov and human-, they joined the Dark legion hoping to regain southern territories.

Krakavian principalities: Actually a name to group very diverse human krakavian nations, cities, principalities, and so on. Orthodox Christians, they at first opposed the dark legion, but where largelly defeated, so many become vassals of the dark legion, paying a tribute to keep their worship: however, impositions of the demons have lead to rutinary revolts be by the peasants, rural nobles or the bourgeois of the cities, sometimes with several principalities rising at one time against Dark legion rule.

Kagastan: Kanov nation with important human muslim minorities. The pagan Kanov entered in the Dark legion to strengthen their position against the muslim humans.


Muong: Human Khanate -the most powerful of the Nomadic empires-, that joined the Dark Legion

Narivaku: Nutk Port of the Dark Legion in Hieyoks. First landing of Demon Lord Draco, before his march eastward.

Nomad Empires: diverse nomadic realms of the steppes. Humans, Kanovs, Doroz, Galaw Orcs and beast peoples: these nations often rised and fall quickly.
 
Othok: Kanov nation, member of the Northern Kanov Confederation and the Dark Legion

Tok-Thoria: The Demonic Realm ruled by the Nigromante, Tok-Thoria and their legions of black orcs where crucial in the expansion of the Dark Legion in southern Near Hieyoks, facing Dannustan, Blazakhov and the Farsian Empire

Trelkas Holds: The aristocratic Trelkas have several palaces, where they rule over their vassals, but have little semblance of unity among them. They joined the Dark Legion.

Snow Elves: Snow elves tribes extended along the Hieyokscream Sea: while their territory had been largelly conquered by the Dark Legion, they still resisted.

Silvan Elves: Several Silvan Elven principalities existed in the shores of the Tok Sea -such as Ahrea-, but they where largelly conquered by Anutkia and Tok-Thoria, coming mosly under Dark legion rule.

Vanolosé Trading Cities: The former independent Vanolosé cities where quick to adapt to changing winds, and swore perpetual loyalty to the Dark legion... until winds change again.

Winterfrost: Snow elven, dwarven and human nation. Neutral.

Xcresenia: Ice Elven city, and one of the mayor Ice even cities. They joined the Dark Legion of Demons
