It was an Dwarf trader caravan, who were trasporting back from markets in the surface grains, who they exchanged for weapons and iron, so after the ambush made by the drow acolytes, they have two times the expected loot:

Not only new slaves, to be selled in the slave markets of the Drow city-state of Negeémiliel, or to be sacrified for the pleasure of their Godess of War, Negeé, but as well grain: surface food wich is highly necesary to mantain a city of the size of Negeémiel and their 270.000 inhabitants.

But before they go back, the drow acolytes dedicated themselves to humilliate the hated dwarf they imprisoned, knowing they keep their honor so high, gloating and taunting them, torturing them, and taking away they clothes and tying them, before dropping them in the carts of grain, hogtied, to be bringed to the temples and slave markets, depending of the infortune of each enslaved dwarf.

So here is Milvais, one of the "Drow trio" of recurrent characters, in her pre-slavery duties of being a slaver herself, but for the Godess of War and the statal cult of her city.
