The Ozcuras Grey Orcs, created by the demon lord Tulkhut during the Kanovhook Wars, while they were identified -and identified themselves- as orcs, it was known they had been breeded in the Pits of Entartea using not only dark magic, but as well stock of orcs, goblins, humans, kanovs, demons and elves -light and dark-.

While in the male grey orcs -the Ozcuros- it was more visible the orcish traits, the females of the grey orcs had much in their physical apparence from their elven ancestors.

Some Ozcuras clans will later refuse this completely, proudly announcing themselves to be pure, fine orcs, created as they had been only by the power of Tulkhut. But other ozcuras clans and nations recogniced instead their mixed ancestry: part of this was visible in their relation with the Canaia Drow.

The Canaia Drow -or sometimes, Canaia Neroz, known as well as Swamp spirits- were, unlike their underground siblings, surface hunter gatherers: while it's discussed if they where descendants of the first Drow Empire, who unlike other drows with it's collapse didn't escaped underground to Kazrrad, but remained in the surface-, or instead if the Canaia clans were Neroz Dark elves who never joined the Drow Empire, remaining in a primigenial state of hunter-gatherers in a stone age.

The Canaia drow small bands of hunter gatherers that roamed Polforia survived the High Elven Imperialism, the succesive invasions of the Galaw High Orcs, Kanov and Humans and finally the demons, barely changing their lifestyle -but often hunted down by the sedentary settlers, either to defend their cattle from being hunted and their crops gathered, or as slaves-.

The Canaia Drow where among the ancestors of the Ozcuras -and this was kept in the oral stories of the Canaia and many ozcuras clans-, many entartean and dedian ozcuras clans called the dark elven hunters the Old Mothers: this wasn't only a nickname: many of the first generations Ozcuras, with much elven and demonic blood in their mix, will stay for their long lives along the Ozcuras of Entartea as officers and commanders, seemingly immortal ancestors to the eyes of their short lived descendants.

Sometimes, Canaia witches and hunters did joined roaming warbands of ozcuras.
