Sentry of Pricom : Choose your Own Adventure

This is a Choose Your Adventure project, where you take the role of a Sentry of Pricom, a Henchwoman called Carmen Urrejola in what you expect to be a normal day in the base working for the shady corporation of Pricom. After reading each part of the story, you are going to make choices that determine the main character's actions and the plot's outcome.

Patrol duty, sentry duty or a special assignment. UGH, all of them sounded so terribly boring and so much like a chore, you thought... if you had to choose, you would rather go for a patrol...


yeah, patrol sounds nice. Better than standing around bored as a sentry, or being led to some mysterious room and disappearing in a "Special Assignment". In your experience, nothing good comes from Pricom's special assignments.

The Pricom Elite Jackelyn rolled her eyes, as none of the Pricom operatives at her charge said what they wanted to do.

"At the wave of volunteers, I will be assigning duties" she said: quickly she picked the patrols, sentries and special assignations. You ended in patrol duty.

While the assigned sentries waited in the back of the room chit chatting, Jackelyn ordered the patrols to come over.

"Come here and hear me well. Since we captured an enemy infiltrator some days ago wandering in the base in one of our uniforms, the supervisor wanted to tighten security, specially in Sector B of the Complex..."

"Why there?" asked one of your comrades.

"Because that wing of the complex is were is located the Brig."

"Oh! Are we guarding the Brig?" asked other girl.

"No. I said we are doing patrols. And not in the brig, in the whole Sector B" Jackelyn explained. "Finding somebody wandering in the base was something quite upsetting true to be told, and if I'm sincere about this, we don't actually know why that intruder was here and who send her...

So we must be extra careful and alert in our patrols within the base, as we may have a security situation that need to be solved.

So I want each patrol to report regularly, and to be alert at ANYTHING suspicious. Be sure to check as well on the sentries posted in the base, to ensure everything is okey and remember to check IDs. 

And if you hear something strange: REPORT! We have these headsets for something! Keep your awareness! 

IT'S THAT CLEAR?"

"YES MA'AM!" The Pricom operatives choired.

That being said, quickly Jackelyn formed the patrols and then proceeded to assign their duties...

LISTEN UP!

"Patrol Delta, you take the higher levels of Sector B"

"Patrol Charly, you will be armed and be on the middle levels of Sector B"

"Patrol Beta, you will be patrolling the lower levels of Sector B"

  "Lastly, Patrol Alpha will come with me. We will be patrolling in the areas of the mess hall and common areas... but in  case of danger, we will serve as immediate support to the other patrols. We will Equip SMGs and sidearms"
