Preparations for the Storm

"Each planet we conquer, is more difficult that the previous one." said one of the generals of the United States of Spotzen, as he studied the map, thinking.

"Well, that shows we are progressing"

"Their resistence is fanatical. Yet other reason why we should erase these bastards from existence. Their paid terrorists only are coming more bold."

"They made actually us quite a help the Goeliathian, to evacuate civilians in the border planets, leaving only military garrisons. We could fight them without contempt"

"But as we advance to the core planets, there are more civilians on the way" said other of the generals. "And I'm not too sure about our current policy toward Goeliathian civilians. Resettlement and dispersion in our own colonies seems a bit hard"

"Only while war lasts. We can't leave them to backstab us, or hinder our advance."

"That is only making them go to create partisan groups in our rear"

"They are fanatics, they where fighting since the beginning. In that way, civilians are out of the way, and anybody left, is an enemy" said other of the generals. The Fifty Years War didn't had made better the human qualities of the generals of Spotzen, which already lacked of the contempt for human dignity since before the war.

"I thought, the WK-CORP, Klein Shine armada was to advance to the Republic? We have interests there"

"And so do the RFB. If they continued their attacl aside of these six planets already in their hands, that could trigger an invasion of the RFB Federal Fleet of al-Daish."

"Nobody wants that. We already have enough problems with the RFB breathing in our necks in Kharazi."

So far, the United States of Spotzen Army, along with the corporative fleets -now under the command of the EUS-, have irremediably pushed forward in the Goeliathian sector: each planet, a harder battle than the previous one... But the Generals of Spotzen, with an objetive in their minds and almost all the non-alligned Ots industrial potential and population behind their backs, pushed forward, reeplacing each fallen soldier, vehicle, mech, shik and ship with other... and massing reinforcements, as they marched to the final battle:

to Terra!

Terraa, capital of the Goeliathian Coalition, was seen as the key, and the enemy have largelly retreated there, trying to keep their fighting strenght, that the EUS Intelligence estimated in about 3000 to 3500 ships.

Against this, the EUS had planned a pinsors movement and a battle of encirclment and annihilation: over 5.000 ships in three armadas where converging into Terra, meanwhile other fleet, departed from Chechoslovernia, 1500 strong, was to either fall to "free" the Staevik planets, or serve as a reinforcement in case the battle was harder than anticipated.

Nova was going to cost blood and sweat to the EUS... but what had them worried them instead was the RFB, reason why the alliance systems of the EUS, the RFB, Stornkold, Auswelt.ICR, Nortenz, The Union and the Confederation where rolling...

The continued escalations of the war of the devart sector could only result in the great powers of Ots entering in the war... and the EUS classify as one of these.

While the EUS and the CONIN prepare for the storm, so do the Goeliathian for a final last stand.
