They are Antorian orcs, from a numerous raiding party, waiting for the order of their war chieftain to descend uppon the now sleeping elfs, and bring them dead or enslavement, and to plunder their goods and possetions...

It's clear that this wild elf village, away from the normal raids routes of the orcs, haven't been attacked since a while, as the orcs only finded some lone rangers in the nearings of the village as only guard, and aside from an old and crumbled wall, there is no defenses or defenders in sight....
