There are some places were no ozcura should go: or at least that what she firmly believed, and what her mothers had taught her.

She was lucky from being of central Polforia, and so while her mothers and grandmothers had fought the evil hoo-mans, helping their great, powerful and magnanimous demon lords push them westwards, she hadn't to face the evil hoo-mans.

But she had heard the rumours.

The men of the Mountain Lion and their red and white standards: an insignia all the free peoples of western polforia had learned to hate and fear, and while they had been pushed to the westernmost mountains, their seasonal raiding columns sometimes ventured deep into Polforia.

Slavery wasn't an unknown institution: in fact, most of their benevolent gods and rulers had slaves -almost all of their servants were slaves in one or other way!-, and there where many slavers. As well, before the Great Demon Lords returned, it was as well common for the Free peoples to raid each other, capturing slaves.

But no one else seemed to be as organized in this enterprise as the hated men of the Mountain Lion, and unlike slavery within Polforia under their bening demon lords, slavery in the foreign  lands under the yoke of hoo-mans seemed like a terrible fate.

As said: she always firmly believed, there where places where no ozcura grey orc should ever go...

"I tell you, I'm sure we have been followed by demonic scouts"

the men of Roccasone continued their march across the marsh. 

"Do you think the rumours are true?"

"Which rumours?"

"That this isn't just other ragtag band put together by some orc chieftain, bandit leader or minor demon, but that instead the Demon Lords had really returned?"

"I doubt it. It sounds just like a rumour the Witch King of Dol-Nur have spun to get the other demons in line... surely, they are more organized this time, but how many demonic armies have we defeated already?"
