Description

The henchwomen of Purple Vixen where sent to the Ohio Research University, as some events covered in the news about the potential of the investigation of Dr. Lambha. For her own nefarious purposes, of course.

However, while she provided inteligence to her hench girls of the local superheroes, as Mecha Maid and black Tiger, they did encounter a six-arm good-doer, precisely just minutes after they break into the Ohio Research University!

From Television Tropes & Idioms:

"Spinnerette is a webcomic produced by Krakow Studios that updates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's written by Krazy Krow and, unusually, has three artists — Walter Gustavo Gomez, who's done the bulk of the work, Fernando Furukawa, who's done two chapters, and Rocio Zucchi, who has done two chapters as well.

Mild-mannered lab assistant Heather Brown was forced to clean up the lab by her boss one night when, due to a Freak Lab Accident with a genetic infusion chamber, Heather gained the powers of a spider, including superstrength, shooting web out of her lower back (not her butt), and most prominently four extra arms. With these powers Heather decides to fight the forces of evil as the costumed superhero Spinnerette, while hiding her secret identity (and extra arms) from the citizens of Columbus, Ohio.

Spinnerette is not alone in her endeavors. Helping her out is her roommate Sahira, who acts as her Secret Keeper, seamstress, and voice of reason. There is also the local superhero team of Tiger, a huge superstrong man, and Mecha Maid, a power-armour maid.

Spinnerette is largely an Affectionate Parody of Superhero stories (most prominently Spider-Man, of course), showing Heather's forays into the world of superheroism and the many problems that can come with it. Humor is largely derived from Heather jumping headfirst into superheroics without any forethought, and the problems that causes. But it's an upbeat comic— Heather's many troubles never get her down."

I have followed for years the comics of KrazyKrow, and the last year for his birthday -or the one according to dA-, I wanted to draw a gift to him for his comics. Rather than just drawing Spinnerette, I wanted to do a scene of superheroes and villains and such.

The problem was (and is) that I don't have any superheroe/supervillain on my own... so I decided to go for dangerfan's Purple Vixen.

But when I sketched it, beginning to ink it, I had problems doing the villainess, who ended reemplaced by some of her henchwomen.

But when I realized how obscure would be a gift for a webcomic superheroe having defeated some anonymous henchwomen from a deviantart supervillainess who wasn't even in the drawing, I dropped the project.

As well, then came the crazy months of university work.

But the last month, in the internet-less days, I stumbled on the half-inked sketch and I liked it. So I finished it, and painted it on greyscale, to try to mimic Spinneretet's style.

I hope you like it, despise the obscure references and all. XD

Spinnerette it's from KrazyKrow
Purple Vixen and her henchwomen from dangerfan

This was a fan art done only for fun. :3
