As announced long time ago, I wanted to host now a Contest, related not only to my universe / fantasy world setting as before, but now as well related to a specific character: Bog, the Barbarian both here and in my group, :iconworld-of-aiers:.
The contest, which will have as a final date for the submissions the 4 July 2014, will be related as said with Bog the Barbarian, and the so called "Bog Spawn" or the children of Bog.
But: Who is Bog?

But: Who is Bog?


Bog is half human elf dwarf ogre ozcura giant demon werewolf dragonborn Centaur Loranor well, half something barbarian adventurer: He doesn't seem to know for sure his origin, and keep telling stories about it, and as well how great his adventures have been as an Adventurer of the Zannas Adventurer Guild. While he is sure he is the more awesome heroe of history, some of his companions *gasp* DARE to claim he his lying about his great adventures.

As he wandered across the world, he had sometimes more, and often less, luck with the ladies... and in the years, he have left as a lasting legacy of some of his adventures... well... the "Bog Spawn", the Children of the Great Hero...

The Contest

For this contest, there are TWO possible themes: BOG and the CHILDREN OF BOG. In the first case, it must depict Bog being Bog -interprete that as you may under your own risk XD- OR a descendant of Bog: there, it can be one of the already known about in my gallery, or you can create your own. You can as well, mix both categories!

Aside of that, you basically have the freedom to do almost anything in your imagination, within he context of what happen in a world: the only limitation would be, that it can be identified as part of Aiers.

In such whide context, you can do as you want: draw some of your own characters interacting with them, draw a character of yours as a companion of Bog, to make them interacting with some of my own characters, to create your own -and your own Bog spawn!- draw or write stories of them, or their kingdoms and lands, or almost anything you want.

<sub>A bit more about the limitations:
- In case you want to use your own original character, you should adapt him/her to be part of Aiers, not a "dimensional or time traveler". Basically, consider like they where born and raised in Aiers.

- You can not use characters of movies, animation, games, published books, roleplay games, etc, unless you are the original creator. If you want to use for example, your original character from a game like WoW/Skyrim/anything else/ or from a fan art/fan fiction you have done or similar, you need to addapt it like in the previous case, like he/she was native of Aiers.

- if you want to do a parody of characters, or a style or genre, you can do so... but as long as it can be identified as related to the world I have being creating.

- If you are going to do an entry related to some of my "asimilated from dA multiverse" realms, like the amazonian kingdom of Helzig and Prima -KO-Corral- the dustlands of Brûm -fearydistress-, the schlobohmi orcs -ChibiNomad - and the sordcoopriya drows of caverst -sordcooper2- the artificial, elven created pixies of IxisNyx, some characters of Achastia -Achast-, or more, from other deviants who have cooperated with the setting of the World-of-Aiers, you can do it, but state the original creators, and use them in the "adaptations" I have done. You can incorporate as well new "kingdoms" to Aiers, but please try to make them related to my world, so it can be identified as a part of them.</sub>

Entries to the Contest

Each person can enter as many entries they want, and these entries can be either graphical (traditional and digital drawings, artisan crafts, photos, mixed media photomanipulations (yuck), comics, coat of arms, Digital renders, etc) or narrative (stories, texts, poems, etc). There is no limit to the content -except of course, of same limits of deviantart.-

Personally, I like the mix of graphic + narrative, as seen in most of my gallery... but each one have his own style!

The entries MUST be in deviantart and not in other internet sites (personal blogs, tumblr, facebook, elfwood, furafinity, etc, etc) and they should be done for the constest.

To make an entry, you must post a link to the entry to this journal, and I will add there the thumbs of the existing entries.

The entry must be a new work, done for this contest.

The contest will be held between the 24 April 2014 until the 4 July 2014, and the entries can be send anytime between this time. The 4 July 2014 (Chilean timezone) Standard time zone: UTC/GMT -4 hours , it will be closed.

This give you two months for an entry in the contest!!

Oh,well.

Yeah! I'm going to give as prizes drawing requests -under the same restrictions that the commissions-! -yay!-
and as well, features in journals. -I'm so, so cheap!-

To determine the winners, I will be despotic, and I will be the only one to determine the winners. I will do this instead of polls, votes and juries, because I have seen some problems related to this on deviantart.

There will be prizes for:

-First Place for the awesome awesomer awesomeness. As I'm the judge, I'm afraid I'm subjetive. This prize can be digitally coloured, or manually, if the winner prefeer over lineart.
- is willing to donate for the first place a journal feature (just look at my most recent journal, they'll be on there forever), a fully coloured traditional request, and a 3 month premium membership (or the equivalent in points)

-First Place in the BOG Category

-First Place in the CHILDREN OF BOG Category

-Drawings/illustrations/paintings/graphic work in general For the graphic entry I think is the better from the completely subjetive point that is my judgement.
- have offered a free commission.

-Narrative for the best narrative -written or in comic-, again, from my subjective point of view.

Attention! An entry can win more than one prize so they can be acumulative.

As well, I make a call and ask for people, that are willing to "donate" prizes to make the contest more interesting -such as requests and such- to please do so! I really hope that this contest just die for being deserted:
