The march of Calintropia by Shabazik The march of Calintropia by Shabazik

Against the nationalistic movements in Tchivkorus, the Calintropian Empire movilized in the year 3184 the imperial army, the "white helmets", to supress the nationalistic and secessionist militias of chechos and churrascos. repression of nationalist movements in Tchivkorus.

The Calintropian Empire Army was contrary to many of the last improvements -already tested in the anglasecuarnian wars, with terrible death tolls-, and in the reports of their generals, the machineguns where considered a waste of munitions: a single weapon firing so many bullets wasn't something to be trusted. As well, they where firmly convinced that, the best way to face a charge of cavalry still was going shoulder to shoulder with a wall of bayonnetes.

The nationalists of Tchivkorus where somewhat more pragmatic, and while most of their officers -former members of the Imperial army- rejected the use of the "new weapons and tactics", the needs of their cause made them to adquire weapons from the enemies of the Calintropian.

And while the arrival of machineguns in larger quantities than the few and dispersed in use by the Calintropian army, the final defeat of the Tchivkorus nationalists meant for the Calintropian to decide they apreciations and tactics where correct...

...and will stick to them, anachronistically, for other 30 years, with catasthropic results to their empire.

Other of my old, old drawings of school times, done between the 2002 to 2005, when I had my free-form roleplay game of nations. But I cheated in this one, as I added some aditional soldiers -basically, placing how many originally I wanted to place in the drawing, before I get bored of it- AND as well, eliminating some of the most anachronic equipment there.

...HOW did those guys in green even get CLOSE ENOUGH to bayonet the marching troops?! There's a millions of them and they had like a mile between themselves and their enemy. X ]

I guess they made up to the enemy, because of Calintropian discipline! Unless ordered to fire, they didn't fire! they marched! D:

what a tactical opportunity wasted.... a few good gunmen wit AP bullet hiding under the bridge could have cripled the front and back rows of red soldiers...

after witch the defenders could have guys on the rooftops throw molotovs at the center rows.
