there was confusion and fear in the streets, as many people ran away while armored personnel carriers rolled down the street toward the column of smoke: mercenaries of Kasparov CIA

"I heard there was some clash between shik and aFra clones" a man said, filming the passing vehicles

"Oh god no" say a street vendor woman. "A Corporate War? Here?!"

"I don't think the government will approve!"

First there was some shooting, and appeared in the sky some private gunships: afterward, there was an explosion and chaos...

which was exactly like she wanted, Mantis thought to herself, as she took off the scarf covering her hair: she was already far away enough, and staying covered will actually drag attention to her. As she expected, as Kasparov CIA thought of an incursion of Azimuth Pharmaceuticals forces they where quick to send a quick strike force:

But Azimuth Pharmaceuticals used the mercenaries of Zenith Horizon precisely because they weren't directly linked to them, and they had strict no-engagement orders, and as the Kasparov CIA forces began to arrive, they had to stop their attempts against the entrenched Mantis, to explain themselves:

That gave her time to activate the bombs in her safe-house: Kasparov Forces thought to be under attack, and as the Zenith Horizon where forced to scramble, she escaped between the smoke and debris: she reached a secret stash of clothes, and quickly put them to hurry away as other scared innocent bystander for a couple of blocks.

"Well, that was fun. Too bad for my safe-house... it was a shitty neighborhood thought" Mantis thought, as she walked away...

Zenith Horizon, a private military contractor, subsidiary company from the mega-corporation Azimuth Pharmaceuticals- had a tip about the the infamous bountyhunter Mantis being in a safe-house in their area -a small flat in a popular building block-.

Knowing the bounty Mantis had in her own with Azimuth Pharmaceuticals and due her last strikes against the interests of the company, Zenith Horizon send a strike force to take out Mantis, disguising it as a rutinary mission...

However, they weren't ready for Mantis.
