In the Nebulosa of Ots, quickly artificial humans -clones- were banned from international sports events, as they could be genetically modified to be superior than humans, and so they will come to be exclusive for Biological born, un-augumented humans.

However, the Cloning companies saw that Sports could be indeed an excelent advertesiment to their products -the clones-, and so they will organize the Intercorporative Sport Event known as GeneWar or GenWar.

The GenWar Games are the leading intercorporative sporting events featuring summer and winter sports competitions in which thousands of artificial humans -clones-, created specifically for each GenWar by competing cloning corporations from all over the Nebulosa of Ots participate in a variety of competitions.

As a general rule it's that the participating clones must have been cloned for that specific GenWar Games event, coming out of the Maturation Chambers not before a week before the games themselves, as it's expected to compete in the games the quality of the products of the cloning corporations -"a battle of the genes"-, so other forms of augumentation are banned. -Pharmaceuticals and Biomechanical industries held they own games, to show the power of their drugs or biochemical and biomechanical augumentations-.

The GenWar had as well commercial purposes, as often the target audience are prospective employeers of clones and contractors of Cloning Corporations.

Many sports events and practices where very controversial, and will be banned as result of the Rebellion of the Clones. However, this will lead to some illegal Clones Sporting Events.

While these games weren't suppose to reeplace the international sporting events -featuring biological humans-, the possible feats achieved by artificial humans modified to have including super-human habilities meant that they would get much more media attention in the end.
