Blazakhovian Trading Post

A Trading Post of the Caliphate of Blazakhov, in the plains of Antor:

The Caliphate of Blazakhov, with Cargass as capitol, was an important Kanov islamic empire, who based their power, rather in a military dominion, in the economic power

-however, later they will have as well a military power, needed to face some of their "competence" in a friendly way :3-

So the trading posts of Blazakhov expanded, and quickly where all over the most important routes of trade near the sea of Caritz, from Sargos to Vanilion and Caruzimb.

Normally, they trading posts where places to rest and stop for the caravans and traders -becoming quickly markets, to exchange the products- as well in small factories, where some manufacturated goods where done to add to the trade, and to exchange products with the locals:

Aside from that, the Trading posts have as well a messenger system, banks and small houses of many of the more important trading houses of the sea of Caritz, taberns -and burdels-, as well the houses of the traders.

However, they where as well strong points for Blazakhov, and a way to expand their economic, military and cultural influence: so normally there where as well government oficials, to take the taxes for the empire, small garrisons of soldiers, to defend the fortifications the outposts normaly have, disuade the assaulters, and if needed make tthe locals more likely to cooperate, and there where as well mosque, with the permanent expansion of the Islam...

The plains of Antor are a dangerous place, and that is well know: but the risk was well payed:

From Antor, the Blazakhovian exported salt, ivory, gold, diamonds and slaves, wich them exchanged for weapons, armors, ceramic, spices, and various manufactured goods...

and Antor was as well the shorter route to conect the sea of Caritz and the Dwarf cities of Karhain mountain, and the High Elfs kingdoms from the far south...

However, having neighboars like the Antorian Orcs, Loranor, Wild elfs and many others in a beginning was rather annoying and difficult, but soon, after some Blazakhovian military campaigns of retalation, and seeing how profitable where to have traders for neighboars, the Trading posts became fundamental for the economy of Antor, and some of the few "neutral areas", enforced by soldiers of the Caliphate of the Orange Sun.
