KLEIN SHINE

Klein Shine (KS) is a nodorian multinational robotic, android, genetical laboratory and consumer packaged goods manufacturer, founded in the year 301 d.J. Its common stock is component of the Industrial Consortium (CONIN) and the company is listed among the Fortune SOO.

Being one of the 12 main companies of the CONIN, is however one with less prestige and worse reputation, because of their active involvement in many activities illegal or penalized in many states of the Nebulosa of Ots.

The corporation's headquarters is located in Lorrian System,

New Kharazi, LCP, with the consumer division being located in Galaena, DSC. The corporation includes some 2000 subsidiary companies with operations in over 160 countries and products sold in over 210 planets of the nebulosa of Ots.

Since their origins, as a company dedicated to robotic -specially manufacturation of robots for civilian and military purposes- soon was developed by KS in the 310 d.J series of Androids, being the spearhead in the development of robots with human characteristics -often called despectively "dolls".

Klein Shine shifted an important part of their investments in the entertaiment industry -from creation of computer games, movies of all genres, animation, cinema, teathers, dancing clubs, strip clubs, vacation complexes, deportive events, bars, to brothels, production and commercialization of alcohol, tobacco and drugs-:

The use of androids was many times related to the "adult entertaiment industry" which created much polemic about Klein Shine, which only added in their impopularity due the production and commercialization of drugs that where illegal within many nations who have prohibited them.

In 310's decade, Klein Shine ventured as well in the Corporative clonation markets, entering in competence with some of the giants of clonation as Kasparov CIA and Gentek with their "Delmen".

With the recent actions of the industry, and they interests in the "entertaiment" industry, many opposed them entering in the market, and many blaim them as one of the direct responsables of the "revolutions of the clones" and the wars, skirmishes and military confrontations done by the MDHA (Movement of Rights for the Artificial Humans) of the 328-330 d.J, due their abuses and unconscious sales to companies and particulars without any care -even worse than Kasparov and GENTEK, as pointed by many.

DELMEN

The Artificial humans created by Klein Shine where named as Delmen, in contraposition of the Shiks or aFras of other corporations: However, due the popular use of the artificial humans of Kasparov CIA Shiks, this name was already whidely used for any corporative artificial human / clone.

Klein Shine dedicated mostly to the creation of civilian purposes artificial human for commercial and domestic use, for private use of corporations and persons, rather than aiming at the colonization of new worlds or the markets that where the large nations and their militaries.

As well, in difference to Gentek or Kasparov, they produced only female artificial humans -other of the many critized policies of KS-, and their delmen where much heavily conditionated that other artificial humans, often having implants in the base of their brains, to regulate their conducts even further.

The Delmen as well, enginered for more domestic purposes, wasn't as resistant as other artificial humans to hostile environments.

Despise all of this, Klein Shine -controlling their own home planet, and as members of the CONIN- had to field an army: and while the bulk of their forces where robots and remotely controlled weapons, they gave their civilian models of artificial humans military training. The Delmen where then organized in colours depending their ranks and services, existing pink, black, blue, golden, red and white.

Some notes about the creation of the Shiks, but as characters and not within my world.

Fiirst of all: all of this basically came from a free form roleplay game that developed during 12 years of school, which I directed, and each of my classmates played a nation -or faction-. In a moment, this reached 140 players. O__O!!

As well, often kids -and teens- had stupid ideas. The idea of the creator of "Klein Shine" was basically to create an army of prostitutes XO! It wasn't very respectful or politically correct idea, I should say. It wasn't the weirdest or more stupid one that went around, thought. neither was the first time somebody proposed it, some years before other player -a girl- created a "special service" of prostitutes with venereal diseases, to "weaken" enemy armies.

ANYWAY. I quite rejected the idea -and soon their enemies learned the lesson of suspecting foreign ladies offering them for free-, but his army remained femenine: And they where called "delmen" due direct Influence of the "delmos" of the anime Agent Aika. Even the "out of duty" uniform was the same. And so basically his high ranking officers where quite some "hagens" :P

ANYWAY!, with the "delmen" part sorted out, back to the creation of the artificial human Shiks:

In my game, began quite early -as some emergency measures by lossing nations- to recruit men and women alike in the armed forces. And as well, some girl players created some women-only armies -as the "Amazon de la mort"-... well, to the point:

When the players created these "female armies" they asked me to draw them. back then, I hadn't drawed women in these drawings of small battles done in the reverse of tests and such, so I needed to try to learn to draw them. My first attemps where looking at some "Condorito" magazines. And failed utterly.

In my defense, I must say these first uniforms where quite practical. Too practical, in opinion to many of the players! XD

I later had in my hands a book somebody give as gift to my brother, wich featured Batman and Catwoman: and I began trying to trace the drawing of catwoman, to later draw over the traced drawings the uniforms.

And per request of somebody -can't remember who- they wanted an archetypical "spy-girl-in-tight-bodysuit", and so I drawed it.

Many, many times. I should have been... 12, 14 by then? These drawings where quite bad thought. But once my brothers found some of them, surprised as until then I only drawed small, small, small soldiers (often in stick figures), and ashamed, I burned them all.

In these early designs, these first characters already where clad in grey bodysuits, but used snickers and fingerless gloves and masks. I designed as well some variants and such. Later, some had what I can describe now as a "zentai suit", but with eyeholes.

But basically, I sucked drawing anything that wasn't less than 2 cm tall bearded soldiers: It was later, when I discovered MS Paint and sprites, that I returned to these designs:

And using sprites of the game "Darkstalkers" of Morrigan and Lilith, which I modified, I re-did these first designs, doing some new ones...

But when... 15? 16? 17? I really wanted to learn how to draw something different from only persons of 1 to 2 cm tall, and began to try -and fail- to draw some western style comics and manga.

I will not extend on how much this taked time and fails. But I filled books with badly drawn people, who where basically nude -not really, as there was no detail on them, thought-.

Not wanting to somebody stumble on these notebooks, and not wanting to do the work of actually dressing them, I went for the classical and easy solution the western comic artists once invented. Skintight clothes!

And: tadah! with only some lines to denote gloves, belts and boots, I had "dressed" all these sketches.

When I began to like a bit how these excercises looked like, I coloured some. "Coloured" is truly a way to say it, as I used light grey and dark grey for them :I -the basic design of the Shik was born!-

But not the "shik" itself. I had allways been interested by the henchpeople of comics, movies and cartoons: but when I see the anime "Agent Aika" I "failed in love" with the delmos... And soon, I drawed delmos. Many, many, many delmos.

It was back then when the "Delmen" of Klein Shine where born. But something bothered me, and was that it wasn't my design -and as well, it had little sense to me how all the women were young and beautiful, performing such jobs!-

But the idea of armies of beautiful women in spaceships was too good to not be used -that I thought at least!-

The problem of why some good looking damsels will be fighting in skimpy uniforms was clonation. -yay for poor excuses!- aaaand so, I designed the suit of this drawing for the Delmen:

basically a bodysuit, and some armor parts for the arms and legs. Mostly because I sucked drawing arms and legs, and I could cover them with armor. Supposedly, they had as well a full "combat suit", which completed was very similar to the look of a Star Wars Imperial Stormtrooper. But for every 10 I drawed or so, Only one seemed to get the full armor. XD

After that, the poor ladies even lost the bodysuits and excuse of armors, and began to fight in bra and panties. I don't know what was my terrible excuse to do so, but I remember it was a bad one. Something like it was a "deportive competence" between the clonation industries, to demostrate which of their clones where better or such. In these plot-less drawings (all of them hidden! I was allways too ashamed of the stupidity I was going on XD) it was the first time appeared Kasparov CIA, along GENTEK and Klein Shine. And while the poor ladies fought in underwear, I designed as well some "uniforms" for them. Klein Shine had these and the ones of the Delmos of Agent Aika, Gentek some more real looking uniforms -inspired in fascist italy, with a touch of sci-fi- and the ones of Kasparov... well, I remembered these old sketches, and gave them the light and dark grey bodysuits with gloves and boots combo. Originally they had as well some small masks like the one of Robin or El Zorro.

Later, I get riden of the plotless "Arena Games of women in underwear" from 2008, the "el Zorro" masks from the Kasparov girls, and in 2008-2009, I began drawing these "almost-comic-thingies" that where the "Shiks" pages I have uploaded in dA, slowly fleshing them out into what they are now.

So, across the years, I had many influences, and changes in the concepts and designs.

But what inspired the Shiks most?
1.- Putty Patrolers from Power Rangers. Don't ask me why, Power rangers impressed me as a child. And the Putty Patrollers make funny sounds.
2.- Catwoman from Batman. The 90's cartoon catwoman, in her grey catsuit, mask and long gloves and boots.
3.- Stormtroopers from Star Wars. Clone soldiers of evil empires! Yay!
4.- Totally Spies!, specially an "infiltration uniform" they had, used for one of the early "Shik" designs.
5.- Delmos of Agent Aika. Really, and much! Specially in the "angles" and "action", aside of the drawing style for much! XD

I think these are the main ones... could be others thought! :3

At least they don't have to wear such weird uniforms which aFras are forced to wear
