"Crap" thought Mantis. She knew her target, a lead scientist in the AziOz Proyect -some sort of crazy scientist trying to revive some old species- was already on high alert, when she saw she saw that rather than the standard Azimuth Pharmaceuticals science officer escort of a bunchof clueless aFras clones she saw instead a detachment of mercenaries from Zenith Horizon.

That wouldn't be a problem in it's own, she thought. These mercs where thoughter than standard aFras, but they where just cheap clones as well after all.

Thought it was bothersome. But that's what results, when they first hire some sloppy self-called professionals assassins to do this sort of work, only a true professional like herself could do.

As she was scanning for snipers in the perimeter, she caught the quick glimpse of something.

"Damn" Mantis cursed, as in a single motion she jumped backwards down the stairs, taking out from the holster her pistol... just in time, as four needle rounds impacted the wall where she had been, and a moment afterward jumped into place a "metal bunny".

"Damn" thought again Mantis, as she quickly fired some rounds at the Advanced Infantry Armor: she very well knew she didn't had anything on her, that could take out the stornkoldio armor. But maybe they could briefly distract the aFra piloting it.

She was lucky, it was an aFra pilot, and not an Imperial Guard: otherwise she was doomed.

And clearly, now the mission was off, and was time to call it a day...

Because now, she have to get the hell out of there, and get out of her tail the Advanced Armor.

Azimuth Pharmaceuticals it's a megacorporation in my sci-fi setting, the Nebula of Ots.
Mantis it's a professional bountyhunter, but she seems to have somewhat a grudge with Azimuth Pharmaceuticals and their corporative cline/artificial human soldiers, the aFras.

These Advanced Infantry Armors are based in the Hardsuits of an anime, called Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Awesome designs!
