Militen Aquila Aurea Mercenaries

This recolour of the WK.CORP mercenaries -under the colours of the Mercenary group Militen Aquila Aurea- are a bit to show how are most of the smaller mercenary organizations -the "Free Companies" and "Mercenary Houses" that find their employment by the MICHI Mercneary Guild fighting in the Corporate Wars.

While some mercenary groups are more colourful, with bright, not specially useful uniforms -but rather distinctive ones-, most of the Free companies use more traditional and tested equipment: for example, the ZTP Bodysuits, while sleek looking actually provide protection against energy based weapons, vacuum and fragmentation to an important degree -but often is used as underwear the combat fatigues.

While some larger corporate forces go for bright or solid colours, often the Free Mercenaries prefeer the use of cammo -using a whide variety of military and commercial cammouflages- Bought in bulks, this ends that in all their diversity, many of the free mercenary companies of the MICHI guild end looking a bit similar.

Mercenaries are composed of people of all nations, biological and artificial humans, augumented or natural, being most of them volunteers -since the beginning of the private corporate armies in the wars of desintegration of Neu Ruhenia to the end of the Fifty Years War, there always had been a "surplus", of material and unemployed war veterans.-, thought some groups actively adquire clones to replenish their ranks.

Normally, Corporate Wars and clashes between the Mercenaries companies end being a relatively bloodless type of war, being often more used for showing of strenght and being maneuvres more important to win, and often before actively engaging in battle often there are long discussions: while switching sides gives some companies bad reputation in the MICHI Mercenary Guild, it can be profitable. Others prefeer to keep acting within the Guild Parameters to keep getting new contracts, but have no problem surrendering rather than fighting for dead.

Most mercenary companies are regarded by the common population as simply thugs and legalized criminals and are looked down, but some companies have positive fame -as the Militen Aquila Aurea-
