Snot Elf and cookie monster

"Nee!" exclaimed the dark elven woman, as Neroe entered in the same room she spend so many hours playing with her childhood friend: Maylara's room.

"Oh, aren't these snot-elf and Cookie Monster?" she said, as she put her coat in a hanger.

"We have names, you know" protested the smaller drow woman, as she cleaned her nose with a handkerchief... "stupid spring"

"yeah. Grumpy and bouncy. Bouncy Scholar drow" said Neroe, sitting in the table: Since she was back in the village, she needed to help her father in the familiar farm, so she only had brief time to spend with her two 'hostages', as she prepare her return to the horrifing underworld of Kazrrad for her friend.

"Can I ask you for something!!?" said Briiza Ralochs. Neroe looked at 'bouncy-scholar' drow... she seem to keep raiding the old clothes of Maylara...

"What now? You must be one of the more costly hostages in history! I already pick from you all the papers I could for your notes! If I take a single sheet of paper more of the school, the childrens will not be able to practice their writings. And I'm NOT killing some goats to make you a book from their skins!"

"Awww" said the drow, biting the head of a small happy-elven cookie.

"What you do with these papers and ink, anyway? You already eat too much cookies to have appetite to devour them!"

"Is just for my thesis" she replied, sitting. "And I wanted to ask for something else!"

Neroe overlooked her notes, as well sketches she hanged from a wall.

"I came to ask something to you as well. Today, many people have asked me for Maylara."

"Your drow girlfriend" said Hasstin under the blankets she was using, trying to not sneeze."

"She-isn't-my-girlfriend" quickly answered between her teeth Neroe. "And my question is: Why people think that Maylara returned, and ask me about her?"

"uh... Well... maybe they see us across the window? Or they saw lights comming from this room?" tried to say as an excuse the scholar.

"Or maybe, it was because, even if I strongly suggested otherwise, you two LEAVED THE SAFETY OF THAERGRUD'S HOUSE, and worse of all, you have been found out!"

"Oh, well. Really, we didn't leaved... is just that... uh..."

"How did you sketched these ruins, animals and others if you remained there?"

"sorry" said the drow, sitting beside her companion.

"You will be more sorry when the mob comes with torches" sighed Neroe. She really didn't expected the drows to stay quiet in the house, anyway. "What did you wanted to ask?" she finally added, after a minute of silence, interrupted by the sneezing of Hasstin and the scholar drow girl picking again a cookie from the bowl. She run in sugar or something?

"....could...could you teach me how to speak Hebonnor?"

"And why that for?" asked Neroe

"Because a nice couple invited me for dinner tomorrow" answered Briiza.
