The Ven'Lark Sisters

It was the end of the month, and the heavy steel doors of the Academy of Negeé opened slowly. Behind the doors, the initiated of Negeé waited for their monthly leave.

However times had changed: while before the respected -and feared- Initiated of the rulying goddess of the city could leave as their pleased, the rising street violence and the attacks of the Fanatics of the Cult of the Flower to Initiated, had forced them to leave in groups, or to leave only escorted by an Acolyte of Negeé.

Lea'sha "Medusa" Ven'Lark sighed, as she awaited in the courtyard. She was told her family would send somebody to pick her up, so she had only to see her friends leave earlier, and she had awaited a full cycle.

"Lea'sha! What have you done to your hair?!!"

"Dob?!" Medusa said surprised, looking at her sister Dobeshae Ven'Lark. After her initial surprise, she smiled. "Sis! How have exile been to you?"

the sisters hugged each other. "We are now stationed in a small former orc settlement. Nothing fancy, but we have set with Xuunera a lucrative side business, true to be told."

"Ah!" Medusa said. "Still licking Lo'Kee's ass?"

"I don't lick her ass"

"After the number of the Temple of Doom, you should have been appointed the captain and you know it" Lea'sha teased her older sister. "We had a Lo'Kee in our unit! You know what we did to her?" Medusa said, slicing in gesture her own troath with her thumb

"Yes. I know well. Hanster Lo'Kee. She's an acolyte and in my unit now, remember?"

"booh. You are so lame at taking a joke! Anyway, if you want to get some payback from Captain Lo'Kee, I can help you! I know her daughters are in the academy! I could pick on them for you!"

"Oh, don't be a jerk. Remember I asked you to look over them. And stop suggeting vengances on Xuunera! She's my friend"

"Frieend that get you exiled"

"It wasn't only her fault."

"Well, I know for sure, if there are going to be friends like that, I will be the friend getting people exiled because of me! But I would reserve myself first a cosy spot down here in Negeémiliel!"

"Oh, shush. How goes your acolytal exams?"

"Pffttt. Mom should have already told you! I'm still not talking them!!"

"When I was your age, I was already an acolyte!"

"Psst. Always when in wars, they push earlier the acolytal exams, so no surprise really. Are you bringing me somewhere nice? Are we going to eat something? OH! OH! Let's go shopping in the Foreigner Quarters! It's have been long since I ate Dwarven Food!"

"Speaking of Dwarves. What with the crazy dwarven braids?! You hadn't answered me what horror you did to your hair!!"

"It isn't braids! It's Ye Olde Dwarvenlocks!" Medusa answered.

"By the Abyss, how it's that Mother leaves you have you hair like that?!"

"Well, as our cousin Draeve get the Matron to accept her dwarven-braids, mom simply couldn't ban my style!"

The lieutenant Dobeshae Ven'Lark looked around.

"Not only you have weird hair... what's happening to the Drow youth?!" she said, as she saw walking by a drow initiated with her uniform tattered to rags and hair dyed black.

She come closer to Lea'sha, whispering. "It's there a new principal in the academy? Of the Populist Party?"

"Yeah, new principal" Medusa said. "She isn't Populist but senatorial thought. It's only that she say drow girls would be drow girls, so she doesn't mind much hairstyles and uniformity... and that's awesome."

"That's madness." 'Dob' said. "That sort of anarchy it's what have brought down the northern drows..."

"Always so serious!" Medusa said, rollying her eyes. "So... shopping?"

"Yeah. And in our way there, you will tell me how are you tactic magic use classes!"

"Graah".

was writing some more articles in the Aiers wiki ( aiers.wikia.com/wiki/Aiers_Wik… ) and I remembered that the lieutenant of Xuunera Lo'Kee's company was still unnamed!

Their cousin Draeve meanwhile it's from the mainline.
